Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Payani Media LLC ("BeFound," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use BeFound AI (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, and login credentials.
- Billing information: processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Site and content data: the website URLs you connect, page content we analyze, audit results, generated drafts and images, and publishing activity.
- Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and how you interact with the Service.
- MCP connector data: when you use the free BeFound Score tool through our MCP connector (in Claude or another MCP client), the domain you submit is sent to befound.ai and analyzed across the AI engines to produce the score. The tool is read-only and does not change your site.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including audits, scoring, content generation, and publishing.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and updates.
- To monitor, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
3. AI processing and service providers (subprocessors)
To deliver the Service we share data with providers acting on our behalf, including model providers that generate text and images, our hosting, database, and email providers, and our payment processor. Content and prompts may be sent to these providers to produce audits, scores, and content. We share only what is needed to provide the Service, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies, advertising, and marketing consent
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, understand usage (Google Tag Manager), and measure and target advertising, including retargeting visitors with BeFound ads (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag). You can control cookies through your browser and opt out of interest-based ads as described in our Cookie Policy.
By creating an account or signing up for BeFound, you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies (including advertising and retargeting) and to receiving marketing emails from us, such as product updates, tips, and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, and you can ask us to remove you from our cookies, advertising audiences, or marketing emails by emailing hello@befound.ai. Service and account messages (for example security, billing, and connection notices) are not marketing and may still be sent.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any right, contact hello@befound.ai.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International users
We operate in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, you consent to processing your information in the US.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated, and the effective date above will be updated.
11. Google user data (Google Analytics and Search Console)
If you choose to connect your Google account, BeFound accesses limited Google user data to power the performance metrics shown in your dashboard. This section describes exactly what we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.
- What we access: read-only access to your Google Search Console data (the "webmasters.readonly" scope) and your Google Analytics 4 data (the "analytics.readonly" scope). This includes information such as your search queries, clicks, impressions, average position, and traffic metrics. Access is read-only: BeFound cannot modify, create, or delete anything in your Google account.
- How we use it: solely to display your own metrics back to you inside your BeFound dashboard, so you can see how your site performs alongside your AI-visibility score. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for any purpose unrelated to features you request, or to train, develop, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- Sharing and transfer: we do not sell, rent, or transfer your Google user data to third parties, and we do not share it with our AI model providers or any other subprocessor. Humans do not read your Google user data except where you give us explicit consent, where it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
- How we protect it: your Google OAuth refresh token is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, all access to Google APIs happens over TLS, and we request only the read-only scopes listed above.
- Retention and deletion: we retain your Google tokens and cached metrics only while your Google connection is active. You can disconnect Google at any time from your dashboard settings, which deletes the stored token, and you can independently revoke BeFound's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your Google user data is also deleted when you delete your account or on request to hello@befound.ai.
BeFound's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
